Types of Giving

Gifts to the Southern University Laboratory School, of any type, enhance the school’s ability to improve upon programs of excellence, impact students’ lives through scholarships, and influence instruction through esteemed faculty. There are two major categories of giving:

Annual Giving

Every gift, regardless of size, matters. Gifts made to the Laboratory School on a yearly basis provide us with the flexibility to direct the money where it is most needed. 

Outright gifts of cash to Southern Lab’s Annual Fund are the most popular type of gift and are tax-deductible. These gifts can be made online by using a credit/debit card or you can mail a check. Please make your check payable to Southern University Laboratory School Foundation (memo Annual Gift).

Endowments

Endowed gifts are intended to be kept permanently and invested to provide income for sustained support and enhancement of Southern University Laboratory School.
