General Safety Measures

• Students in grades 6 - 12 are required to wear masks or face/coverings at all times except during lunch. If students are unable to wear a mask due to a health reason, parents must provide written documentation from a physician to the front office.

• Temperature checks will be conducted for every student before exiting their vehicles in drop-off.

• Individuals (all car drivers and passengers) who have a fever of 100.4°F or higher or other signs of illness will not be allowed to exit the car and will not be admitted into the facility until cleared by a physician.

• If anyone in the car with the student registers a fever of 100.4°F or higher, that student will not be allowed to exit the car and will not be admitted into the facility until cleared by a physician.

• Parents will be notified immediately if their learner registers an elevated temperature. An identified area in the school has been established to isolate students in the event he/she registers an elevated temperature.

• If a sick child has been isolated in the facility, the isolation areas will be cleaned and disinfected after the sick child has gone home.

• Free COVID-19 testing, provided by CareSouth,  is available at the Nursing Building for employees and students.

•Temperature checks will be conducted throughout the day and/or as needed.

Teachers will monitor students and report any student illness to administration.
