A teacher will be responsible for effectively managing the class(es) to which he/she is assigned and responsible for planning, organizing and implementing an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The class(es) shall be conducted in accordance with policies adopted by the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education and with the regulations and procedures of the Laboratory School.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree with certification in the assigned area(s) of exceptionality or area of responsibility
Current teacher certification for either elementary, middle school, or high school
Relevant teaching experience
Knowledge of relevant technology
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Education
Multiple areas of certification
Successful completion of the course, Supervisor of Student Teaching
