Southern University Laboratory School is proud to partner with Men of Business (M.O.B.). The Academy offers an empowering summer experience designed to prepare young men for success in entrepreneurship, financial independence, and career readiness.
The 2026 MOB Academy Summer Experience is a dynamic, hands-on program created for young men who are ready to grow personally and professionally. Through mentorship, real-world skill-building, and exposure to business fundamentals, participants will leave more confident, focused, and equipped for their future.
This is more than a summer program; it’s a launchpad for leadership, purpose, and long-term success.
What the Program Includes:
Entrepreneurship & Business Development (Mindset)
Students will learn the foundations of entrepreneurship, explore business ideas, and begin developing their own concepts.
Outcome: Build confidence and think like an entrepreneur.
Financial Literacy & Wealth Building (Opportunity)
Interactive sessions focused on budgeting, saving, investing, and understanding how money works.
Outcome: Gain tools to make informed financial decisions early in life.
Career Readiness & Professional Development (Belief)
Workshops covering resume building, interview skills, communication, and personal branding.
Outcome: Be prepared to step into future opportunities with confidence.
Mentorship & Leadership Development
Students will connect with business leaders and mentors who will guide and inspire them.
Outcome: Strengthen leadership skills and build meaningful relationships.

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Southern University Laboratory School
Who Should Apply:
Rising 8th graders and high school young men
Students interested in entrepreneurship, leadership, and personal growth
Students must commit to consistent attendance and active participation
