🐠 First Grade Visit Blue Zoo 🐠

Mrs. Rollin’s first-grade class had an exciting and engaging field trip to the Blue Zoo! This experience brought their learning to life as students explored a variety of animals and observed their unique features up close.

This trip directly connects to their learning in CKLA Skills Unit 4 and Wit & Wisdom Module 2: Feature Creatures, where students have been studying how animals use their unique features to survive, move, and interact with their environments. From fins and gills to shells and patterns, students were able to make real-world connections to the texts and lessons they’ve been exploring in class.

We are so proud of our first graders for their curiosity, thoughtful observations, and excitement for learning!
