Dive Into STEM: Join the 2027 Southern Lab SeaPerch Team!

Calling all Southern Lab students in grades 7–12! Are you ready to build, design, problem-solve, and compete? Southern University Laboratory School is looking for students interested in joining our 2027 SeaPerch Team!

SeaPerch is an exciting underwater robotics program that challenges students to design, build, test, and operate a remotely operated vehicle, or ROV. Through hands-on experiences, team members will explore engineering, robotics, science, technology, mathematics, teamwork, and creative problem-solving while preparing for SeaPerch competition.

You do not have to be a robotics expert to join. We are looking for students who are curious, dependable, willing to learn, and ready to work collaboratively as part of a team. Whether you are interested in engineering, coding, designing, building, science, or simply trying something new, there is a place for you.

Our goal is to assemble a strong team of Kittens ready to represent Southern Lab during the 2027 SeaPerch season.
