Safer Smarter School Program

Southern University Laboratory School will participate in free COVID testing again this year with the Safer, Smarter Schools Program.  We need every student, even if you were receiving free testing last year, to register using the link below.   

If you have any questions, please contact the school at 225-771-3490. 

To register for the upcoming school year:

  1. Visit https://covidsafe.orion.healthcare/register/participant.

  2. Accept the online consent to participate in the program.

  3. Choose your school under “Testing Location.”

  4. Provide your contact information to receive results.

Tip: You must register for the upcoming school year even if you participated last year.

Last year, the Safer, Smarter Schools Program administered approximately 1,047,119 COVID screening tests in over 594 schools in Louisiana and distributed $8.1 million in incentive payments.
