Campus Safety Update – Fisher Hall Evacuation

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We want to inform you that Southern University has issued a notice regarding the evacuation of John W. Fisher Hall and the surrounding area out of an abundance of caution. All students, faculty, staff, and visitors have been asked to avoid that area until further notice. 

At this time, Southern University Laboratory School is not affected by this evacuation. Our campus remains secure, and we are continuing normal operations.

Please be assured that we are in close communication with university officials and law enforcement. Should any new information arise or action be required, we will notify you immediately through our official communication channels.

The safety of our students, faculty, and staff remains our highest priority. Thank you for your continued trust and support.
