The Department of Computer Science have 4 open positions for high school students who are interested in the summer internship in STEM. Carpool Adjustment
We proudly announce that the elementary parking lot will be paved beginning February 21, 2022. The process will take approximately two weeks to complete, which means the anticipated final day is March 4, 2022. As a result, we will have to move the carpool to another location. We will have a practice run on Friday, February 18, 2022 (afternoon only).
COVID-19 Weekly Testing

National 4-H Agri-Science Summit
Sports Agent Bootcamp
On February 4-5, 2022, Southern University Law Center, in partnership with Diverse Representation, will present the first-of-its-kind Sports Agent Bootcamp. The aim of this event is to equip attendees with the tools and skill sets to pursue careers as professional sports agents. The two-day event will feature several workshops and panels facilitated by professional sports agents and executives. Open to the public.
UREC’S PRE-LAW INSTITUTE FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Urban Restoration Enhancement Corporation is accepting applications for the 2022 College & Career Ready Initiative’s Pre-Law Institute, which is being offered in partnership with Southern University Law Center. The institute will take place January 18, 2022 through April 2, 2022, Mondays through Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Students are invited to submit an essay in the form of a letter addressed to a political leader, on a topic of concern and importance to the student author. The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services has a Parent Portal that allows you to view and receive information about your student’s P-EBT benefits. You will need to create a CAFE account and link your student's P-EBT case to your CAFE account. We encourage you to do this to verify the information that we sent on your behalf.

The East Baton Rouge Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) is seeking applicants to lead initiatives in the city and provide a voice for their peers to the city government of East Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Parent University: College Eligibility and Social Media
On Thursday, July, 29, 2021 (6:00 pm), SULS will discuss the process that athletes should follow if they plan to participate in college athletics. The host will discuss the NCAA clearinghouse and requirements along with using Twitter accounts to assist in the recruitment process. Google Link
