Camp S.W.A.G.
Southern University Laboratory School is excited to announce that we will be hosting our summer enrichment program again this summer. S.W.Ag.-STEM, writing and agriculture. Students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade can participate in academically enriched activities that are fun and engaging, STEM hands-on activities, argumentative writing, agriculture and physical education.
Camp Dates: June 1st-June 30, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 3:00pm, Monday-Friday (Extended Day Available for an additional Fee)
Registration Fee/Camp Cost: Camp Cost is $200.00 (Outside SULS families $250.00)
Registration will be open for SULS families March 20, 2023 and for outside families March 27, 2023. The deadline to register is April 7, 2023. There is a $25 nonrefundable/nontransferrable deposit is due upon registration for each child to hold their place for camp.
Campers are required to wear camp t-shirts daily. Camp fees and additional t-shirt fees are due by May 1, 2023.
Fees cover: camp t-shirt(2), field trips and highly trained staff (additional t-shirts available to order for $10.00 each) Breakfast and lunch will be included daily at no additional cost. Some field trips may be an additional cost.
There will be a mandatory virtual parent meeting Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 6:00 PM to go over camp rules, expectations, procedures and protocol. Additional information about the meeting and the link to join will be sent to the email you provide in the application.

SULS Summer Enrichment - Bridging the Gap
Southern University Laboratory school is pleased to announce our summer program for students entering grades 6 through 12 is back again! In order to maximize the opportunity to polish and strengthen skills in math and ELA while having fun through interactive, hands-on activities, and games, we are offering a summer program for our students and students in our area. The first part of the day will be academic enrichment with SULS staff, and the second part of the day will include STEM activities provided by the College of Sciences and Engineering (CSE)and others from Southern University and A&M College.
Summer hours will be from 8:00am to 3:00pm beginning June 1 to July 30, 2023 Monday-Friday (Extended Day available for an additional fee)
The camp fee will be $200 for SULS students ($300 outside families). Fees cover: camp t-shirt(2), field trips and highly trained staff. Campers are required to wear camp t-shirts daily (additional t-shirts available to order for $10.00 each). Breakfast and lunch will be included Monday-Thursday at no additional cost. Field trips and lunch on Fridays may be an additional cost.

Southern University Bayou Camp
We are excited to announce the 2023 application for the Southern University BAYOU program is now available. This summer, the program will be residential (you will stay on campus) from June 4 to June 9, 2023.
The Beginning Agricultural Youth Opportunities Unlimited Program provides an opportunity for high school students to gain “first hand” knowledge about career opportunities in Agriculture, Family and Consumer science and related disciplines.
