Embedded in the Legacy of Southern University Laboratory School are professionals that have made a lasting impact within their community, school,  as well as their families. It is important that we place a premium on taking the necessary steps towards our next chapter; therefore, we are having an academic signing day on April 28, 2022. On this day, you will announce your intentions post graduation.


We are asking students to complete the attached form by 12:00 pm on April 12, 2022. On the day of the ceremony we are asking students to bring the following:

  1. School/College Sweatshirt, T-Shirt, and/or hat

  2. School/College Pennant Flag

Parents are asked to bring the following:

  1. School/College Sweatshirt, T-Shirt, and/or hat

  2. Balloons/Flowers

  3. Table skirt (preferably color of the school)

  4. School/College Pennant Flag

  5. Paraphernalia 

Academic Signing Day is an avenue to highlight the educational achievements of our Seniors. The event would mirror traditional athletic signing day, but the focus is on merit, academic, and other achievements. 

This event is open to all graduating Seniors who have made final decisions of their post high school endeavors with approval of the guidance counselor. Click Here To Sign Up
