2023 MAYOR'S YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL
Looking for an opportunity to amplify the voice of youth in East Baton Rouge Parish? Applications for the 2023 Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) are live! Applications are open to all 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students who attend a public, private, or charter school in East Baton Rouge Parish.
Applicants are required to submit a completed application, a student and parent commitment agreement, and a letter of recommendation. Applications close this Friday, November 11th and can be filled out at myacbr.com/apply.
Selected participants will have regular meetings twice a month and will attend events and activities related to their initiatives and interests. Program activities include parish-wide community service projects, professional development, and more!

Selection Criteria
The council will be composed of a diverse group of students who each bring an important voice to the table
Applications are open to students (2022-2023 grades 10th through 12th) who either reside in the City of Baton Rouge or who attend a public, private, or charter school located in the City of Baton Rouge
Students must be active in their communities and be dedicated to active participation in the council
