Summer is Calling!

We are so excited about the start of our camps for the 2025 summer session.  This FAQ intends to answer parents' questions regarding our day-to-day activities and general information. 

Pre-K to 5th Grade

CAMP S.W.A.G.

(Elementary School: Rising Pre-Kindergarten - Rising 5th Grade Students)

Southern University Laboratory School is excited to announce that we will host our S.W.Ag.-STEM, writing, and agriculture summer enrichment program this summer. Students in Pre-Kindergarten* through 5th grade will have the opportunity to participate in academically enriched activities that are fun and engaging, STEM hands-on activities, argumentative writing, agriculture, and physical education.  

6th - 12th Grade

STEM X AT SU

(Middle/High School: Rising 6th Grade Students - Rising Seniors)

Southern University Laboratory School is pleased to announce that our summer program for students entering grades 6 through 12 is back again!

SULS Summer Enrichment - SU STEM is available to current SULS students and students in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. This camp allows students the opportunity to reinforce and enhance skills in Math, ELA, and STEM through interactive and engaging hands-on activities and games.

Camp Dates:

Camps will run from Monday, June 2 - Friday, June 27, 2025.  We will not have camps on Friday, June 20th, in observance of Juneteenth.  

Registration:

There is a $26 registration fee due at the time of registration. This registration fee will be charged to your account if it is not paid by SULS summer programming administration. This fee is non-refundable.

On April 14th, we will open registration to everyone. The camp fee is $309 for SWAG Camp (Elementary) and $361 for STEMX (Middle and High School). The camp fee will be automatically charged on May 9th to the card on file.

If a waitlist-only option is available, we recommend you complete this process as this is the only way for you to be notified of an open seat.

Please make sure you choose the SWAG-2 Summer 2025 and STEMX-2 at SU options. Please note that if you do not choose the option with the number 2 behind it, it will look like enrollment is closed.
