Southern University Laboratory School is excited to announce that we will be hosting our summer enrichment program again this summer. S.W.Ag.-STEM, writing and agriculture. Students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade can participate in academically enriched activities that are fun and engaging, STEM hands-on activities, argumentative writing, agriculture and physical education. Students must be 4 years old by June 1, 2022, or already a Pre-K student at SULS. Send all questions to mark_perry@sulabschool.com.

Camp Dates: June 1st-July 1, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 3:00pm, Monday-Friday (Extended Day Available for an additional Fee)

Registration will be open for SULS families March 28, 2022 and for outside families April 4, 2022.

Camp fees are due by May 27, 2022.

Fees cover: camp t-shirt(2), field trips and highly trained staff (additional t-shirts available to order for $10.00 each) Breakfast and lunch will be included daily at no additional cost.

SULS Summer Enrichment - Bridging the Gap

Southern University Laboratory school is pleased to announce our summer program for students in grades 6th through 12th. In order to maximize the opportunity to polish and strengthen skills in math and ELA while having fun through interactive, hands-on activities, and games, we are offering a summer program for our students. This will also give us an opportunity to continue to fill in gaps academically that may have occurred due to COVID-19 and its effects on learning. The first part of the day will be academic enrichment with SULS staff, and the second part of the day will include STEM activities in engineering and/or science provided by the College of Science and Engineering (COSE). Summer hours will be from 8:00 to 3:00, Monday through Thursday beginning June 1 to July 1. The camp will be $200 for SULS students ($300 outside families) which will cover the cost of the camp plus 2 t-shirts. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Fridays will be field trip days.

Southern University Bayou Camp

The Virtual Beginning Agricultural Youth Opportunities Unlimited Program provides an opportunity for high school students to gain “first hand” knowledge about career opportunities in Agriculture, Family and Consumer science and related disciplines. The program will be delivered virtually as we continue to fight our way through the COVID-19 Pandemic. Selected students will be required to be online from 9am to 12pm each day for the duration of the program. For more information please send an email to bayou@suagcenter.com.

Southern University Bayou Camp Ag-Xperience

The Beginning Agricultural Youth Opportunities Unlimited (BAYOU) Program provides an opportunity for high school students to gain “first hand” knowledge about career opportunities in Agriculture, Family and Consumer Sciences and related disciplines. The Ag-Xperience program provides students hands-on experience with the different areas of their choosing. Selected students will be required to attend daily face to face from 8am to 5pm each day for the duration of the program. Lunch will be provided.
